As books lover we couldn´t avoid to take a look into the Taschen book store in 107 Greene St, New York, NY 10012. The Best is the store it self and the small gallery they have on the basement.
This indie bookshop is a good place to get in touch with the best independent publication. They also organize the upcoming NY Art Book Fair which this year will take place in September. We probably are going to be there ; )
Of course we were shopping and sometimes only window shopping. We knew about Marimekko, but to tell you the truth we weren´t never before in any shop of them. But in NY we were !!! It was difficult to get out of the shop. If you know the brand you know what we are talking about. The experience was just vitamin for our eyes.

Some of our life pleasure is definitely food. So is not strange that many of our experience is related to the food´s field.

Ace Hotel New York is a unique boutique hotel, we went there for a drink which is part of NY´s culture. They have a very nice atmosphere and the young crew just make you feel like at home.
After the Starbucks age was already time to create a new a concept of what a coffee place should be. This place made coffee under an ethic base, is friendly and is decorate with much atmosphere, actually If you want you could rent the space and If you want you can also learn more about coffee on the Brew School. Thanks Toby Smith from Australia to take forward the coffee break. At the moment the only one in NY is in 125 North 6th Street Brooklyn, New York 11249
